Matador Starter Pack
I taught Adobe workshops as a Computer Lab Technician at California State University, Northridge. I noticed many students wanted these workshop services, but enrollment was low. This prompted me to create Matador Starter Pack, an app that allows CSUN students to login with their institution's credentials and the system will upload suggested spots on campus and free resources offered based on your major, minor, and class standing. I created this to create a more engaged, knowledgeable student body.
To begin my process, I began asking fundamental questions, like what are the goals of this system? Who is it for? What
are their needs and frustrations? I ventured around campus to hear from over fifty Cal State, Northridge Matadors to collect data.
After synthesizing my data and pinpointing needs, goals and pain points, I began sketching and paper wire framing.
